Corporate Fitness and Wellness Monthly Management

Your company can choose to engage in all of our services or any assortment of programs to complement your corporations requirements. Our Corporate Fitness and Wellness Monthly Management combines all of our services for one monthly fee.

This option is the most economical.

  • Create fitness class schedule of company’s class choice per month

  • Hire and manage fitness instructors and wellness coaches to run classes

  • Monthly health and wellness email blast for employees

  • Fitness consultations for all employees upon request

  • Equipment selection, layout design and organization

  • Equipment orientation for all employees and exercise suggestion

  • Fitness equipment maintenance

  • Provide fitness contracts, Par-Q forms, health, and injury clearance forms

  • One-on-one personal training and group personal training available to all employees (appointment required, and prices vary depending on participation)

  • Organize corporate team building challenges

Gym Class
Corporate Group Fitness Classes

PowerWorks Wellness offers a variety of on-trend, interactive fitness classes.  All classes are taught by certified fitness instructors who are experienced to work with all fitness levels and participants with physical limitations. 

 

We will provide you with fitness equipment if needed. Our flexible class formats offer programs that your employees can participate in with minimal space and no equipment.

 

Our weekly fitness programs are 30-to-45 minute exercise classes onsite at your workplace. Classes do not require a dedicated space. They can be held in your boardroom, lunchroom,  outdoor parking lot or greenspace. Classes can also be scheduled before work, after work, or on lunch breaks. PowerWorks Wellness instructors provide proper instruction and technique for all exercises, so employees will feel comfortable performing the exercises safely.

 

All class participants must complete a fitness evaluation and sign a PAR-Q form with one of our fitness instructors before participating in any class. We will provide all fitness contracts, PAR-Q forms, and health and injury clearance forms.

 

Most participants in the workplace fitness programs report feeling more energy and clarity on the days of the program and an overall sense of improved health. Many experience weight loss and a decrease in other symptoms. They appreciate the ease of fitting exercise into their workday and are grateful to their employers.

 

Class options include: Yoga, Boot Camp, Zumba, Circuit Classes, HIIT, Mindfulness and Meditation, Foam Roller, Flexibility, and Stretching Exercises at Employees Workstation.

 Lunch and Learns

Lunch and Learns are highly interactive seminars (30 minutes to 1 hour) that educate and introduce your employees to the latest research, resources, and techniques on a variety of topics in the fields of nutrition, active living and fitness, balanced living and healthy lifestyles, and mental health. Presenters use various tools to engage all learning styles in every session.

​

Each Lunch and Learn has between 3 and 5 learning objectives that provide your employees with the tools to implement healthy changes immediately. Our presenters will provide a one-page summary of the learning points, so staff can interact during the seminar and have the reminder when they want to apply the lessons later.

​

Regularly scheduled Lunch and Learns increases staff morale, commitment, and productivity. This seminar is an affordable way to develop and enhance a healthy workplace culture. Employees report implementing healthy changes immediately based on what they learned, feeling better about the company that invests in their health, and looking forward to the next event.

One-On-One and Group Personal Training

Taking charge of your health is the first key to real success.   Exercise and nutrition are the key factors to looking and feeling your best, increasing your energy, boosting confidence, and enjoying the sense of accomplishment.  Exercise releases serotonin which is our happy drug.  The happier we are the more likely we are to accomplish success with our goals.  PowerWorks Wellness fitness programs are designed and tailored to help employees achieve their health-related goals and physical aspirations. 

 

We specialize in weight-loss management, lifestyle coaching, rehab and flexibility conditioning, and nutritional counseling.  Employees have an opportunity to hire a PowerWorks Wellness personal trainer that complements their work schedule and focuses on their personal goals.

Companies can decide to subsidize any or all of the cost to their employees.

            Ergonomic Office Assessment & Stretching Exercises

No matter how well a workstation is designed, problems may arise if attention is not paid to the way the work is done. Working at a computer often involves very few changes in body position. This lack of movement can lead to muscle pain and strain.

The good news is that moving or stretching is a buildable habit!

​

PowerWorks Wellness provide in-person ergonomic assessments, support, monitoring, and education.  We demonstrate and supply exercises and stretches that can be done at the employee’s desk. We educate employees on the importance of stretching and movement, for preventing health related issues caused by sitting too long.

Yoga Class for all Ages
                   Stress Management and Meditation Classes

Power Works will guide your employees through basic mindfulness exercises and breathing techniques that focus on reducing stress and encouraging a calm and focused environment. All ages and fitness levels can participate in these classes.

​

It is now widely recognized that stress contributes to the majority of health issues and this equates to a significant amount of time and money lost in businesses, due to absence from work. "Mindfulness" techniques are often the first experience people have with meditation, due to its rise in popularity in recent years.

​

PowerWorks Wellness will guide your employees through basic mindfulness exercises and breathing techniques that focus on reducing stress and encouraging a calm and focused environment.  All ages and fitness levels can participate in these classes.

                                             Fit-Breaks

PowerWorks Wellness hosts 5 to 10 minutes fit breaks before, during, or after meetings, seminars, or conferences to help employees de-stress in a healthy way using physical activity.

​

By integrating activity into the usual meeting breaks, employees get a chance to get up and move, refresh their mind, and refocus. It is also a small reminder of how important making time for physical activity is in their day-to-day life.

​

Fit breaks are interactive. They help boost production, productivity, and morale, as well as increase the attention span of employees during meetings.
